CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages and Gardens) is pleased to announce the 2nd annual CTC&G Players’ lounge at Greenwich Polo Club furnished by Fermob with a special lounge created by NEA Studio. This tent is designated for VIP sponsors, and attendees as well as polo players and their families. Featuring many exciting experiences from pop-up shops, to food tastings from Capital Grill to live music, the lounge will be open for nine Sundays throughout the season.

In addition, the creative mixologists from The Cup Bearer will host the Pony Bar and create the ultimate polo bar experience at the CTC&G Players’ Lounge with support from The Macallan, Veuve Clicquot, and Kettle One. The tent includes private lounge suites which are available for purchase and Tastings NYC and Palmer’s Darien will provide a full menu of food and drinks. This is sure to be the best ticket in town. Tickets are $150 with access for two guests to the CTC&G Players’ Lounge with VIP parking, bistro and open lawn seating. Private lounge suites for 10, inclusive of food and beverage are available starting at $2,500.

On opening day, come see the transformation of the iconic Grandstand at Greenwich Polo as it reveals the brand-new CTC&G Polo Pub built beneath its bleachers. CTC&G partnered with luxury builder Apex Projects and award-winning architect Studio Bartolotta to create a VIP pub with a Fernet-Branca bar, a tennis table by 11 Ravens, live streaming of the matches courtesy of Advanced Home Audio and specialty tastings and events throughout the season. A special ribbon cutting ceremony with one of the polo players and the partners on the project as well as special guests will take place at 1pm on June 9th.

“It has been a two year project, and CTC&G is grateful to Apex Projects and Studio Bartolotta for the donation of their time and resources to create this jewel box of a pub and add to the excitement of an afternoon at Greenwich Polo”, says Marianne Howatson, CTC&G’s CEO and Publication Director. “Polo embodies all that we love about our niche in the industry- performance, elegance and distinction. The Grandstand Pub project is what we do best- Create stunning spaces for people to enjoy for many years to come. We’re thrilled to partner with The Greenwich Polo Club and CTC&G to make this an even better polo experience for the community,” says Brian Hyla, Partner at Apex Projects.

“The Polo Pub is a great opportunity to contribute to the community in a unique and unexpected way. The design takes it cues from the patterns of an equestrian stable,” says Andrew Bartolotta, Principal at Studio Bartolotta LLC.

On polo Sunday from 1-3 p.m., fans may also have the opportunity to tour The Brant Foundation Art Study Center, dedicated to promoting the education and appreciation of contemporary art and design. Located adjacent to the field the Center will feature an exhibition Urs Fischer: ERROR, from May – October 2019.

The Veuve Clicquot After Polo will keep the good times rolling with live music and DJs each polo Sunday at 6PM by the Pony Bar. Polo fans can join the after party, meet their favorite polo players while enjoying a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne or their favorite cocktail from The Cup Bearer.

Greenwich Polo Club continues to elevate the polo experience to make every match an event to remember. Whether fans choose to picnic on the sidelines or go the VIP route, there are plenty of options to delight even the most discerning guests. Fans can enjoy delicacies from food trucks such as Caffe Bon, Dough Girls, Gyro Uno, Longsford’s Ice Cream, Lobstercraft, and Palmer’s Darien will provide a full menu of food and drinks for those with private lounges, cabanas and box seating. Polo matches are open to the public every Sunday June 9th – September 8th (some dates excluded). The second 16-goal Shreve, Crump & Low Cup will be played June 9th and June 16th, followed by the United States Polo Association Monty Waterbury on June 23rd and June 30th, the American Cup on July 14th, and 21st, with the season concluding with the East Coast Open on August 25th, Sept. 1st and 8th.
