A Dramatic Kitchen Is Born on Long Island
Gaggenau celebrates the three graces.
In the world of design, the Three Graces are arguably the designers, makers and installers of the finishes and furnishings that make a space magical. This dramatic kitchen is no exception.
Gary Ciuffo, NKBA Certified Kitchen Designer and president of Ciuffo Cabinetry in Bayport, New York was invited by friend and Interior Designer Mary Rabiner to create a kitchen that was contemporary, sleek and highly functional for a Long Island client.
Gary, a family member of the 100-year-old furniture and cabinetry firm said “we were so pleased to work with Mary to help bring her design vision for the homeowner to life. To accomplish this, we incorporated a selection of beautiful finishes including custom stained walnut, sleek white flat panel cabinets, marble and mixed metals. Mary was keen to incorporate cutting-edge Gaggenau appliances to complement the contemporary aesthetic of the space as well. We collaborated with our long-time appliance partner, Appliance World to source and install the Gaggenau appliances. The Appliance World approach to installation, training and service is tremendously important. So much so they even have a formal partnership program for design and cabinetry showrooms. Brian Nathan, president, Appliance World and the team of Gaggenau appliance specialists are true professionals and always fully informed on the product portfolio.”
While the three graces who made this space come to life may not perfectly align with those profiled in ancient Greek literature, one could agree that each bestowed a particular gift to the design process. The end result is a beautiful space perfected through collaboration.
