1/12Photographs Courtesy of CorcoranJustin Wilkes is an Emmy and Peabody award-winning producer, and seemingly an architecture enthusiast as well. Almost two years ago, he paid $1.75 million for this circa-1967 East Hampton modern designed by revered architect Charles Gwathmey. The 1,200-square-foot house is a far cry from the massive shingle-style abodes that sprinkle the Hamptons, and for $2.5 million, someone new can call it home.Built for artist Joe Sedacca, the two-story home is described as a “living sculpture” because of its unique shape. Inside, there are two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a bright living area with soaring walls of glass. Each space is defined by clean lines and neutral tones, but also surprises with design elements like the curved wall in the kitchen.Situated on a lush 2.82-acres of land, the house comes with a heated pool and a small, but stylish Airstream. A new owner can put low-maintenance guests in the steel trailer for an RV-esque experience since it offers a quaint bedroom and kitchen.Michael Schultz of Corcoran has the historic East Hampton listing, which is completely up to date with all modern luxuries. Variety first reported that the Sedacca house is for sale.Photographs Courtesy of CorcoranJustin Wilkes is an Emmy and Peabody award-winning producer, and seemingly an architecture enthusiast as well.
