1/9Photographs Courtesy of Millionaire MansionA British millionaire is feeling extra generous this holiday season. The well-to-do mystery man is raffling off his furnished $2.6 million home for $14 a ticket and tossing in his Rolls Royce just because, why not? Other notable items that will go to the winner are about $60,000 in cash, house staff, a tractor, and oddly enough a stock of 600 light bulbs. The businessman and his wife, who built the estate in the 1990s, told Metro UK that they have truly enjoyed the home, but “have two grandchildren who live four hours drive away and we want to be closer to them.” The seller also told the publication that he is selling it through a competition rather than a traditional listing to “have some fun.”The four-bedroom home, located in Devon, sits on 10 acres of sprawling land, which boast a three-hole golf course, a separate structure that offers a pool and a gym, and a guesthouse. Inside, a grand, stone fireplace and dark wood beams create a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. A wine cellar with hundreds of bottles is waiting for the new owner in the basement. Before you get too excited, there are some conditions of eligibility. To enter, you must be a resident of England, Scotland or Wales and you can’t buy more than 10,000 tickets. Interested participants can purchase tickets until November 30th, 2018.Photographs Courtesy of Millionaire MansionA British millionaire is feeling extra generous this holiday season.
