Actor Walton Goggins Lists Cherished Circa-1927 LA Home
You may know Walton Goggins from movies like Django Unchained or The Hateful Eight, or perhaps have seen him star in TV series like Sons of Anarchy or The Shield. While these roles are quite recognizable, Goggins may soon be best known for his superb taste in homes. The actor just listed his Los Angeles pad for $3.35 million and it wows. From the curb appeal to the interiors full of character and warmth, it’s a charmer.
Designed by Harold O. Sexsmith in 1927, the Mediterranean-style dwelling has changed hands only three times in its life. Standing for 94 years, those who have owned it have clearly adored it.
Walking inside, it’s easy to see why. The carved front door leads to a welcoming foyer with original period tile floors. As well as with a sense of history, those who enter get a hefty dose of timeless style when relaxing in the living room with wood-beamed ceilings, sitting by original stone fireplaces, or walking under arched doorways. Since mixing old and new is all the rage right now, no home is a better inspiration for that trend.
Beyond the design allure, Goggins’ home ticks tons of boxes when it comes to what buyers want today. First of all, beautiful outdoor space is a yes. From the two outdoor dining areas, fire pit/lounge, and pool, the impeccable gardens are blissfully in view. Space is in good supply as well, with 3,240 square feet to live in, including five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Josh Myler of The Agency holds the listing.
