Los Angeles has many posh neighborhoods that draw in celebrities, but the Pacific Palisades seems to have a revolving door of stars. Everyone from Matt Damon to Whoopi Goldberg to Dennis Quaid to Michelle Pfeiffer have called the area home. And so did actress Laura Dern. The Big Little Lies star’s former Pacific Palisades abode is now for sale seeking $6.275 million.

Together with her ex-husband, musician Ben Harper, Dern owned this bright contemporary home set behind sleek gates. No longer in their hands as of 2015, the current owners have elevated the residence since then with a $1.5 million renovation and likely hope to see a return on their investment.
