Actress Laura Harrier Asks Nearly $3.3M for Her Timeless Spanish-Style Abode in L.A.
In Los Angeles, a Spanish-style abode that exudes Old Hollywood glamour is on the market for $3,249,000, and Marvel fans, you might just know the current owner. Actress Laura Harrier, who plays Peter Parker’s love interest in Spider-Man: Homecoming, is selling the Whitley Heights Historic District residence.
The circa-1922 home perched in Whitley Heights Historic District was built by one of the neighborhood’s original developers, Hobart Johnstone Whitley. Whitely paid Arthur Barnes to tour Europe, study architecture and landscaping, and come back to L.A. to build homes based on what he saw there. Including this one.
But, it has changed since then. Mark Haddawy wonderfully restored the airy house in 2021. With over 3,200 square feet, the residence totals four bedrooms and three fully updated bathrooms. The primary suite boasts its own balcony—ideal for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or watching the stars in the evening—and a steam shower in the marble bathroom. Meanwhile, the boho-style living areas are full of great details such as arched doors, chunky moldings, and unique light fixtures. Large windows flood all rooms with natural light, not to mention picture-perfect views of Hollywood.
These sweet interiors effortlessly lead out to the outdoor spaces for an easy-breezy Los Angeles lifestyle. Gardens, multi-level seating areas, and a fire pit create serene spots to gather with friends.
Harrier, who also stars in Mike and Fahrenheit 451, listed the property with Daria Greenbaum at Compass.
