Amy Schumer's $12.15M Penthouse Is a Glass-Walled Stunner

Glass walls flood the residence with light. It looks like Amy Schumer’s apartment hunt is over. The comedian and Trainwreck star had been scoping out new dwellings since listing her West 80th Street townhouse for $1.63M with broker Adam Modlin, but sources told The Real Deal that she just closed on this Upper West Side duplex penthouse for $12.15 million.

Listing agents Lisa Lippman and Gerard Moore of Brown Harris Stevens called this place the “cool chic glass penthouse” and we couldn’t have captured the essence any better. It’s a new construction by Spivak Architects and includes dramatic glass walls that flood the entire residence with light. An anthracite-stone-and-glass fireplace is a striking focal point in the open living and dining rooms and bi-fold glass doors provide access to the wraparound terrace. It’s 4,500-square-feet and has five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, a significant upgrade from the one bedroom she's selling, and she got a great deal on the place too, paying $6.75M less than the original list price of $18.9M.
