Amy Schumer's $12.15M Penthouse Is a Glass-Walled Stunner
It looks like Amy Schumer’s apartment hunt is over. The comedian and Trainwreck star had been scoping out new dwellings since listing her West 80th Street townhouse for $1.63M with broker Adam Modlin, but sources told The Real Deal that she just closed on this Upper West Side duplex penthouse for $12.15 million.
Listing agents Lisa Lippman and Gerard Moore of Brown Harris Stevens called this place the “cool chic glass penthouse” and we couldn’t have captured the essence any better. It’s a new construction by Spivak Architects and includes dramatic glass walls that flood the entire residence with light. An anthracite-stone-and-glass fireplace is a striking focal point in the open living and dining rooms and bi-fold glass doors provide access to the wraparound terrace. It’s 4,500-square-feet and has five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, a significant upgrade from the one bedroom she's selling, and she got a great deal on the place too, paying $6.75M less than the original list price of $18.9M.
