An HC&G IDA-Winning Home Sells for $4.5M

This Montauk home that recently sold for $4.5M includes an epic pool house retreat—designed by LaGuardia Design Group—that was the winner of an HC&G IDA for its jaw-dropping design, but that’s just the beginning of its luxury features. The nearly 6,000-square-foot residence was remodeled in 2014 and includes a chef’s kitchen, open family living spaces and a wraparound rotunda with views of Block Island Sound. The interiors are brimming with splashy, modern flair including 6 rainbow-hued bedrooms and plenty of colorful furnishings that pop against bright white walls. This, apparently, was the key to the sale as listing agent Yorgos Tsibiridis of Douglas Elliman Real Estate said that the “buyers loved it and bought it furnished down to the cutlery and linens.”
