Anthony Bourdain’s Second NYC Apartment Is Now on the Market

1/5Photographs Courtesy of StriblingAnthony Bourdain’s Manhattan properties have been slowly coming onto the market since his tragic passing in June. First, his Columbus Circle apartment listed for rent and now his Upper East Side apartment is seeking a buyer. The late TV star and his estranged wife, Ottavia Busia, purchased the five-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in 2014 for $3.35 million and it is now listed for $3.7 million.Located on East 94th Street, the apartment is decorated sparsely but thoughtfully, creating a minimalist and modern aesthetic. The open floor plan keeps the living room, dining room and kitchen all in one, airy space where everyone can gather. Light pours through large windows that look out to bright greenery, a rare treat in the concrete jungle that is New York City. While it could be eerie for potential buyers to tour the residence so soon after the chef’s passing, there’s no question that Bourdain made sure the kitchen was in tip-top shape. It offers top-of-the-line appliances like a Miele dishwasher, Sub-zero refrigerator, and six-burner, double-oven Wolf range.Elizabeth Fishman of Stribling has the Carnegie Hill listing, which the Wall Street Journal first reported.Photographs Courtesy of StriblingAnthony Bourdain’s Manhattan properties have been slowly coming onto the market since his tragic passing in June.
