Antonio Banderas Seeks Almost £3M for Prefab Home in the English Countryside

Celebrities jet all over the world, often seen on social media taking flashy vacations on yachts or at villas. However, their quiet trips to faraway home-sweet-homes are less publicized. Many A-listers hold residences on different continents. For example, the late Sean Connery owned a romantic coastal mansion in France and Rihanna rented a posh home in London. Nestled a bit further into the countryside of England, Antonio Banderas’ contemporary stunner is now for sale. With the guide price of £2.95 million, the actor’s Surrey spread is no longer under the radar and is up for grabs.

The prefab structure is a feat of design and precision. Built in 2005 and created by German company Huf Haus, it sits seamlessly amidst woodlands and gardens. Since the home is largely made of glass, this green cover creates natural privacy and serenity.

What lies within the modular walls is just as enticing. With three floors of open spaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s light and bright with plenty of room to spread out. There are five bedrooms, spacious living areas, and a huge media room where Banderas movies can feature anytime. Leave your face mask at the door and indulge in The Mask of Zorro.

And though it’s undeniably sleek, the home is also warm in both its style and its amenities. With under-floor heating throughout, England’s famous rainy days can be comfortable and cozy here. Also providing opportunities for wellness, there’s a sauna and gym where one can unwind, work out, or prepare for a movie premiere.

Simon Ashwell and James Phillips of Savills have the listing, which Mansion Global first reported is for sale.
