Offering 8,000 different wine brands from around the globe, 2,500 beers and 3,000 different spirits. One thing is for certain: This store is not for the indecisive.
The Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross with media sponsor Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, held the annual Red & White Ball on April 30. Designers helped transform the NetJets Hangar at Westchester County Airport by creating fabulous tablescapes for the guests to enjoy. Here are a few of this year’s dazzling designs!
Deane and Connecticut Cottages & Gardens welcomed James Beard Award-winning cookbook author Dorie Greenspan for a celebration and book signing of her new book, Around My French Table. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres prepared by Julia Deane from Dorie’s cookbook, and toasted the occasion with Palmes d’Or Champagne by Nicolas Feuillatte.
Valerie Wilson Travel and CTC&G and WC&G hosted their sixth annual luncheon at Barcelona in Greenwich. Breast cancer survivor Sue Cruikshank gave an inspiring talk about her experience. Cocktails were provided by Rémy Cointreau USA and all proceeds benefited Susan G. Komen Connecticut.
