Bethenny Frankel Sells Lovely Bridgehampton Home at a Discount

Bethenny Frankel, who departed The Real Housewives of New York City at the end of last season, may have done so to focus on other ventures like her lifestyle brand or new role on Shark Tank. Though the reality star has been a force in real estate before, notably flipping properties with Fredrik Eklund, her recent sales are showing how tough the market can be. In her second sale of the year, Frankel has unloaded her revamped Bridgehampton home at a discount. Originally listed in June 2018 for $2.995 million, the property just closed for $2.28 million almost two years later.

According to Variety, Frankel scooped up the spread in 2017 for $2.1 million. Flipping it beautifully, the entrepreneur may have managed to breakeven or even profit on this sale depending on how much money she put into it.

This news comes shortly after Frankel sold her SoHo loft for $3.65 million, taking a loss since she scored it for $4.2 million in 2014. The rich and famous are not immune to market dips, and whoever scooped the star’s Hamptons getaway got tons of bang for their buck. The shingle-style estate was built in 1910, but now boasts every modern luxury. With seven bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms within 4,2000-square-feet, there is room enough that the home once operated as the Morning Glory House bed and breakfast.

As beautiful as the property is, sometimes even a wraparound porch and full renovation can’t guarantee a profit-turning sale. The lovely celebrity home was listed with Caroline Sarraf and Heather Saskas of Compass.
