Billy Bush Is Selling His Chelsea Townhouse for $8.25M
Billy Bush is done with NBC…and NYC? His Chelsea townhouse, which Page Six reports he never actually moved into, is on the market with Engel & Völkers’ Howard Morrel and Rebecca Kilborne. It looks like Bush is motivated to sell, judging by the series of price chops the apartment has gone through since being listed, starting around $8.9M and ultimately landing at the current ask of $8.25M. He bought the place in late 2015 for what became a rather short-lived gig on Today and was staying elsewhere during its renovation, but it looks like he will not be able to take advantage of the finished product.
The listing calls the place “construction ready” and renderings by ODA Architecture highlight the opportunity the new owners will have to build their dream home on Chelsea’s famous Townhouse Row. It’s 7,248 square feet in total with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms including a master suite that occupies the entire third floor. The parlor level features soaring ceilings in the grand double-height living room and has access to a balcony as well as the garden below. The maisonette, second and fourth floors all have bedroom suites and the excavated cellar is ready to be converted into a wine cellar, home theater or gym. Despite all that, the real showstopper is the roof-deck, which features a plunge pool, Jacuzzi, lounge area and full outdoor kitchen.
