The celebrity designer masterfully remodels homes on a regular basis and most recently has listed a 1925-built Sunset Strip spread for $7.95 million. News of the listing comes concurrently with the announcement that Lewis’s contract with the Bravo reality TV series, which he has fronted since its premiere over a decade ago, has not been renewed. Perhaps the ratings for Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik Eklund's new flipping show put Lewis' show in jeopardy.Amazingly, this is the second time the designer has flipped this same property, according to Architectural Digest. Lewis originally scooped up the home in 2002 for $860,000, and sold it in 2003 for $1.75 million. The designer, who lives in the house next door, snagged the abode again in 2015 for $2.484 million. Over the past three years, Lewis transformed it from a Spanish-style home into an oh-so luxurious modern. Boasting 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms within its 4,334-square-feet, the reinvented residence has been nicknamed “Old Hollywood.”The sleek, Hollywood pad gives a strong first impression with a limestone exterior and an all-glass front door, which brings you into the top floor. Muted interiors offset the abundance of luxury while reclaimed antique oak herringbone floors and an art-grade lighting system establish an elegant air. The open living room and dining room contains a limestone fireplace and each space has a wall of sliding glass doors that shows off sprawling LA views. Next door, an all-black dual island kitchen wows with matte-finished charcoal cabinetry and black marble countertops.Downstairs, the master suite has its own private patio, walk-in closet, and a black and white marble bathroom complete with a steam shower and soaking tub. An entertainment lounge with a mirror-backed bar opens out to an infinity pool and spa on the lowest level, which drips in glamour.Carrie Berkman Lewis of Pacific Union International and Boni Bryant of Compass have the listing.Photographs courtesy of Pacific Union International and CompassIf anybody can be relied upon to flip a house fabulously, it’s Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo's Flipping Out.
