NYC&G Presents The Caumsett Designer Showhouse 2020
Top designers will transform this Summer Cottage into a decorating masterpiece.
The 2020 Caumsett Designer Showhouse, by architect Andrew Giambertone, will be presented in the Summer Cottage located on the grounds of the Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve in Lloyd Neck, New York. Built in 1939, the cottage is a two-story Colonial Revival residence with Georgian and Federal details originally built as a guest residence for friends and family. Top interior designers and decorative artists from the New York Metro area will transform the Summer Cottage into a decorating masterpiece.

The Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, is a 1,500 acre park that was once part of the estate of Marshall Field III, a prominent business man and philanthropist from Chicago, IL. This magnificent property overlooks the Long Island Sound. The renowned Olmsted Brothers were hired to create the landscape for the estate which drew its inspiration from the traditional landscapes of an English Country Manor.
About the Caumsett Foundation
The Caumsett Foundation was founded in 1997 by local residents. This 100% volunteer-run organization is a 501(c)(3) organization. All money raised benefits the Foundation and goes directly towards on-going restoration projects as well as towards educational, cultural and environmental programs in the park. It is the Foundation’s intention and mission to restore all projects to their original state, adhering to The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties for historic preservation.
