Chef Eric Ripert Puts a Tasty Upper East Side Condo on the Market

Foodies, get ready to flock. Famous chef Eric Ripert and his wife, Sandra Ripert, just listed their Upper East Side condo. Contrary to typical New York City style, this home at East 72nd Street may make cooking at home more enticing than dining out. A buyer will need to dish out some serious dough to nab it, however. The French-native, who co-owns NYC’s three Michelin-star restaurant Le Bernardin and has been a guest judge on Top Chef, is seeking $3.595 million for the unit.

Without even reading further, you can guess that the kitchen is a major highlight. It was designed by Ripert himself and has an open-concept plan as well as top Miele appliances. There’s an induction stove with an attached iron grill, a double oven, and a wine fridge.

The chef even has it all set up for growing your own fresh ingredients. Flower and herb boxes add a quaint touch reminiscent of French country living, yet the condo is high on the 25th floor above the posh streets of the Upper East Side.

The open feel of the condo extends beyond the kitchen. From the living area to the wraparound balcony, there is an effortless flow for everyday life or glitzy entertaining. The interiors were created by Marie Aiello Design Studio, and with East River views and city lights always dazzling in the distance, the home is always stunning.

Sandra Ripert, both the seller and listing agent, and Patrice Vance of Douglas Elliman have the listing. The NY Post first reported on this listing.
