Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Drop $17.5M on Beverly Hills Modern

Just over a month after John Legend and Chrissy Teigen listed their celebrity-pedigreed Beverly Hills mansion, the power couple has found a new home in the same neighborhood. Larger than their previous property by about 2,000 square feet, this modern full of bespoke marble and wood seems to better suit the needs of the growing Legend clan. With a third child on the way, the couple seems to want all the space they can get. Cleverly, their new Beverly Hills beauty cost them substantially less than the $23.95 million price tag on the home they are parting ways with. It was still a pricey purchase, however, as they scooped it for $17.5 million.

Anyone even slightly familiar with Teigen and Legend knows that, aside from family, two things are king: Music and food. And while their new digs don’t yet have a designated spot for a grand piano or a recording studio, the floor plan will certainly allow for both. Spanning 10,700 square feet, the manse includes 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and 24-foot ceilings that send the overwhelming sense of openness upwards. The kitchen, with a polished marble wall and oversized eat-in island, seems meant to star in content for Chrissy’s Cravings brand.

When not honing their respective crafts, the Legends will have plenty of other things to explore on the property. A terrace in the rear overlooks a 100-foot saltwater infinity pool, while a 500-square-foot media room with plush seating and a projection screen offer the ultimate moviegoing experience.

The home, developed by JB Builders, was represented by Sally Forster Jones of Compass.
