Everyone’s favorite celebrity couple has been apartment hunting in their old stomping ground. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend recently toured a unit in their former building, Brewster Carriage House, where they lived for some time in a cozy one-bedroom spread. The pair, who have a daughter and a baby on the way, seem to be looking for a New York nest for their growing family and naturally gravitated towards the familiar 374 Broome Street location. While their former Hollywood Hills home is currently on the market, the couple isn’t rethinking that sale.Last year, Teigen and Legend sold their unit in the 1856-built, New York landmark for $3.995 million, but now the couple is eyeing the $9.5 million penthouse, according to the NY Post. The three-bedroom, three-bath abode is a step up from their old digs in more ways than the number of bedrooms. The apartment is smart-wired and boasts top-of-the-line features like a gas fireplace, Miele appliances, and a 133” projection screen. A copper-railing staircase in the living area leads to a private, immaculately landscaped rooftop, which boasts a full outdoor kitchen that surely caught cookbook author Teigen’s eye.Douglas Elliman has a team of star brokers listing the luxurious penthouse, including Fredrik Eklund, who’s also flipping homes on Bravo’s soon-to-premiere show Bethenny and Fredrik, Lisa Interdonato, Raymond Dillullo and John Gomes.
