The publishers of C&G Media Group are seeking a creative, data-driven Digital Product & Content Manager who will be responsible for improving brand awareness and implementing strategies for audience growth across all digital and social platforms. This role will be equal parts editorial content packaging and production, and social media strategist, and will be the liaison between the Editorial and Sales teams to help sell and promote content across cottagesgardens.com, our social media platforms and e-newsletters.

 

The Digital Product & Content Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing creative ideas for social media and web-based content, including regular, digital-first features and franchises
  • Developing new and innovative ways to package print content to reproduce on the website and social media
  • Developing and maintaining a content calendar for both the website and social media, in partnership with the Editorial and Marketing teams
  • Posting content daily to both the web and social media
  • Working with other C&G teams including Marketing/Events, dailyDEEDS and print editorial to post and promote content
  • Tracking engagement across all social
  • Tracking site traffic and providing an analysis of metrics to management on a monthly basis
  • Tracking digital ad campaign metrics on the website and social media
  • Creating case studies of successful campaigns for the Sales team to reference
  • Providing a weekly update on Sales and Editorial status calls

 

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three (3) years of experience producing digital content for both website and social media, preferably for a lifestyle or interior design company. This candidate should have a strong command of all social platforms and have a working knowledge of how to optimize engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and other social media. A strong command of Google Analytics is also required. Most of all, the ideal candidate will be passionate about developing engaging digital content that marries C&G’s editorial mission with growing technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience producing editorial/branded content
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement creative ideas
  • Ability to analyze data and create content strategies based on metrics
  • Ability to analyze Google Ad Analytics and provide performance metrics
  • Ability to develop and implement shared organizational systems for content planning purposes
  • Exceptional collaborative skills to work across Sales, Editorial and Marketing
  • Excellent understanding of SEO and web tracking tools
  • Advanced HTML knowledge required
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge required
  • Working knowledge of a variety of CMS including WordPress
