While some may prefer more traditional style homes, those feeling particularly adventurous might opt for the road less traveled and delve into geometric moderns. Just take a look at these stars who used to call this L.A. masterpiece home. A well-known model’s unique Brentwood home also displays a distinctive look. The first residential design by renowned architect Eric Owen Moss, an architect whose boundary-pushing style has gained him the American Institute of Architects’ Gold Medal, Constellation 167 listed last year for $11.995 million but is now asking $10.95 million.
The concrete home feels edgy and futuristic, although it was built in 1991. From the outside, the most eye-catching part of the home is its circular dome—inside, that space has many showpiece moments including a stunning spiral staircase to traverse through the levels.
Redone by the seller, model and actress Nicole Nagel, over the span of many years, a mixture of different elements create sophisticated and organic edgy spaces filled with light. The home spans almost 5,500 square feet, with no room spared of any expense. Large windows, intricate steel and slate features and top-of-the-line finishes creating a living experience like no other.
Rounding out the private living spaces are four bedrooms and five full bathrooms, leaving ample space for those who want to experience Constellation 167 firsthand. As part of the renovation, the owner tapped Moss to design a cool, lap pool-lagoon combo. It’s easy to feel transported to a place far away when sitting by the water amidst the expanse of lush greenery.
Bringing the listing to the market again is Marc de Longville of Sotheby’s International Realty and Sally Forster Jones of Compass.
