Famous Skateboarder Ryan Sheckler Sells Rad San Clemente Home

Seven-time X Games medalist and former MTV reality star Ryan Sheckler just sold his San Clemente home for $3 million. Having purchased the home in 2015 for $2.5 million, according to public records, Sheckler scored a sweet profit from this rad three-bedroom pad.

For those who didn’t swoon over the teenage heartthrob in their younger years as he starred on Life of Ryan, here’s a quick lesson on the pro skateboarder. Sheckler made a name for himself at an early age, earning the title of the youngest X Games gold medalist at just 13. From there, Sheckler’s rise to fame was almost immediate. Magazine covers, an MTV reality show, and numerous deals with companies like Oakley, Red Bull, and Etnies rapidly ensued. More importantly, Sheckler continued to excel, skating his way to becoming one of the most influential skateboarders of all time. And eventually, he rolled into this contemporary house.

Although Sheckler refrained from creating a skate park at the San Clemente home, there is still plenty of space for letting loose. In the game room, a billiards table currently takes center stage with additional space for keeping instruments or hanging a dartboard. With access to the backyard, the entertainment continues outside. A modest swimming pool, large covered dining area, fireplace, and outdoor kitchen dot the fenced-in backyard.

Inside, large windows and glass doors adorn the 3,000 square foot abode. The California sun radiates throughout the open and fresh interiors. Although the famed professional athlete no longer walks these halls, it is pretty cool to say he once did. Mitchel Bohi of Compass represented the skater’s listing.
