Food Network Chef Michael Symon’s West Village Townhouse Lists for $5.8M
Michael Symon flexes his culinary prowess on the Food Network and as a host on ABC’s The Chew and is now trying his hand at NYC real estate. After picking up a historic townhouse in the West Village for $5.14M last year, Curbed reports that he has put it back on the market for $5.8M with Compass’s James Morgan and Brandon Cohen.
Considering the owner, we’re not surprised that this place features a chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a garden that the listing says is “a perfect venue for hosting barbecues” (or upcoming episodes of Burgers, Brew & ‘Que?). The rest of the home is just as luxurious, with exposed beams and brick, high ceilings and six fireplaces. None of the historic charm was lost in a recent renovation, but now the apartment boasts modern amenities including a master bedroom with a dressing room and fireplace and a master bathroom with radiant heated floors. The third floor now houses a media room and guest suite complete with a wet bar. In all, 2,560 square feet of living space is spread over four stories and the apartment is located just moments from lively Soho.
