Frank Lloyd Wright's Grooviest Home Gets a Price Cut
-
1/26Photographs Courtesy of The AgencyThe last home, and arguably grooviest home, Frank Lloyd Wright ever designed went up for sale over a year ago and has now received a price chop that makes it even more alluring. It originally wanted $3.25 million, but now is listed for $2.65 million, aka it is the time to strike for any architecture lover who has been eyeing the abode. While the extraordinary, 3,095-sqaure-foot home has a spacious three bedrooms and three baths, it’s the unique design of the structure that will reel a buyer in. The circular home perched on the rocky hills of Phoenix, Arizona looks like a James Bond villain’s lair. The interiors are eclectic as ever, harkening to another iconic movie Austin Powers, with a circular kitchen and living room that all boast incredible views of the canyon and city below. In 1994, the home was updated with approval from the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation, so you wont have to revamp the 1967-built house much to bring it into the 21st century. Perhaps some new appliances and furnishing will be all it takes to make you feel “wright” at home. Plua, outside, a crescent shaped pool and numerous patios are perfect for entertaining and basking in Arizona’s dry heat. This architectural marvel is in good company as far as design goes since Wright also designed the Guggenheim museum and many other residential homes throughout the country. Some of which are also for sale.Roxanne Johnson, Jack Luciano, and Raul Siqueiros of The Agency have the legendary listing, known as the Norman Lykes House.Photographs Courtesy of The AgencyThe last home, and arguably grooviest home, Frank Lloyd Wright ever designed went up for sale over a year ago and has now received a price chop that makes it even more alluring.
