Frank Sinatra's Beloved Beachfront Malibu Home Lists for $12.9M

Frank Sinatra’s cool Malibu retreat is now up for sale, and it’s utterly ravishing. The suave singer and his fourth wife, Barbara, scooped up the pristine piece of land in 1990, then build their dream seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom pad. It became a special place for them and they renewed their vows there in 1996. After Frank’s passing in 1998, Barbara kept possession of their beachfront haven until her death last year. Now, a family member is selling the storied abode for $12.9 million.

While other former homes of Sinatra’s have been on the market this year, the chance to be the second owner of this custom-built house is rare indeed. Besides the generous 5,800-square-feet floor plan filled with stylish spaces, the property comes with a heavy dose of Old Hollywood stories.

According to Mansion Global, Mrs. Sinatra’s autobiography details that Dick Van Dyke and Gregory Peck would often spend days at the residence, joking and enjoying the sun. There would have been endless options when it came to entertaining these A-listers thanks to the outdoor-indoor bar and patio, gourmet kitchen, and “plunge-sized” swimming pool and spa.

Sinatra’s close friend, Leonard Rabinowitz of Hilton & Hyland, is representing the one-of-a-kind listing.
