Get to Know Actor Turned NYC Real Estate Agent Philip Tabor

As an actor, Palo Alto, California native Philip Tabor had a successful run working off Broadway as well as in television and film (silver-screen appearances include The Golden Bowl and Le Divorce). But in 2005, the New York-based actor decided to try his hand at real estate, working for Douglas Elliman Real Estate and now The Corcoran Group.

“As an actor, I was able to travel around the world and work with some amazing artists, but there was a lot of heartbreak, too, ” says Tabor. “While I was growing up everyone around me was involved in real estate development and sales, and today I love working in real estate as much as acting. Storytelling has always been my passion, and now I get to help clients tell their own stories. It all comes down to people, communication, and connection.”
