Inside Suzanne Somers' $14.5M Palm Springs Home
Actress-entrepreneur Suzanne Somers and her husband, producer Alan Hamel, are offering the Palm Springs estate they’ve owned since 1977 for $14.5M, reports the LA Times. The resort-like spread encompasses 70 acres of mountainside land and is accessible by funicular railway, making it the ultimate private celebrity getaway. Multiple villas on the property contain a total of 8 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms including a master suite that features a sleeping chamber, an outdoor shower, a bathing room with a custom soaking tub and a balcony. According to the listing, held by Scott Lyle of Teles Properties, most of the materials used to build the estate came from the land itself, including the rock used to construct the Albert Frey-designed stacked-stone house. Countless more luxury amenities like a 2-room kitchen, 5,000-bottle wine cellar, outdoor amphitheater and multiple spas complete this unique retreat.
