Is Angelina Jolie Buying the Cecil B. DeMille Estate?

The grand entry hall.The legendary Cecil B. DeMille estate—which hit the market last month asking just shy of $25M with Hilton & Hyland's Brett Lawyer, Branden Williams and Rayni Williams—has received an offer and rumor has it that it came from none other than Angelina Jolie. Though she had been making her home in a $30,000/month Hidden Hills rental post-divorce, Jolie is no stranger to Los Feliz. In fact, she and then-husband Brad Pitt lived in Los Feliz's exclusive Oaks neighborhood for years; the home they shared is less than 1 mile from the Cecil B. DeMille estate.

If the rumors are true, the Cecil B. DeMille estate is an excellent choice for Jolie and her 6 children. They will have plenty of room to spread out across the 11,000 square feet of interior living space and the home is sited on a private lot spanning 2.1 acres with a pool and pool house.  

Curbed reported the offer.

The living room steps down from the library. The kitchen is spacious and features a center island. The dining room gets natural light through arched windows. The pool has fountains and an adjacent pool house.
