Connecticut Cottages & Gardens - November 2015

An In-Depth Look at the Enticing Brunello di Montalcino

To really appreciate Brunello di Montalcino, one of the world’s greatest wines, it’s important to understand its terroir—its climate, soil and sun exposure—as well as the spirit of the producer behind it. Under the Tenute Silvio Nardi label, Emilia Nardi makes one of the finest of these celebrated Tuscan reds among the rolling hills just south of Siena. She embodies the region’s la dolce vita, as does her family’s magnificent Casale del Bosco estate, surrounded by cypress trees on the outskirts of the medieval hill town of Montalcino.

2015 Connecticut Pink Aid Chair {ETC} Program

Talented designers created and donated mirrored pieces that were auctioned off with all proceeds to support women in their fight against breast cancer. The pieces reflected on the 5 year anniversary of the 2015 Pink Aid Fashion Show & Luncheon at Mitchells of Westport. Guests were treated to a runway show with an exclusive look at Donna Karan’s final collection.
