J.Crew Chairman Mickey Drexler Looks to Unload Hamptons Home for $17.95M

Retail guru Micky Drexler, who stepped down as CEO of J.Crew earlier this year, has put the Hamptons home he purchased for $17 million in 2008 on the market, once again. The Wainscott property has been listed at least two times prior–in 2014 for $26.5 million and in October 2017 for $21.5 million.
The current listing, held by Douglas Elliman brokers Paul Brennan and Ronald White, offers the three-bedroom property for $17.95 million.
Located in semi-seclusion at the end of a private dock, the 3,500-square-foot property sits on 2.3 acres of manicured land overlooking Wainscott Pond. A wrap-around deck and a wooden boardwalk provide direct private access to the beach.
The rustic beachfront getaway boasts an open floor plan with double height ceilings. The home's combined sitting and dining area opens to large picture windows with a catalogue-quality panoramic view.
Much like the clothing for which J.Crew developed a cult following, the home's interior "blends traditional features with a smart modern design."
As previously reported by Fortune, Drexler invested $100 million into J. Crew and owns 10% of the company.
