Janet Jackson Just Put Her Central Park West Condo of Almost 25 Years on the Market

Janet Jackson, an iconic singer and dancer known for hit songs like ‘All for You’ and ‘Together Again’ as well as for her famous family, just put this Central Park West residence on the market. Purchasing the condo nearly 25 years ago, the ‘Miss You Much’ artist now wants $8.995 million for it. Let’s hope the star won’t miss it too much.

Mansion Global reports the star purchased the space in 1998 for $2.8 million. It’s part of 1 Central Park West, which are the condominiums atop the Trump International Hotel that opened for occupancy in 1996.

Drenched in light and overlooking Billionaires’ Row, the 2,100-square-foot condo on the 34th floor allows one to literally and figuratively live the high life. From the entrance, the home unfolds into an open-concept living and dining room combination, with the kitchen situated in a bright corner. And, from the built-in breakfast bar to the library, coveted Central Park views are ever-present.

While there’s room for entertaining here, the home’s private spaces are just as alluring. The primary suite is a relaxing retreat, featuring a swanky bathroom with marble tiles. Two additional bedrooms round out the rest of the accommodation, each with its own ensuite.

The unit is a quiet refuge above Manhattan, with building/hotel amenities adding to the listing’s luxuries. Along with a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art gym, residents can order room service around-the-clock, courtesy of the fine dining restaurant Jean-Georges. Who wouldn’t want that after a thrilling performance at Madison Square Garden or Fashion Week event?

Though she hasn’t been at the home since 2019, Jackson had many years to enjoy it. Juliette Janssens and Allison Koffman of Sotheby’s International Realty hold the celebrity’s listing.
