Jennifer Lawrence Finds a Buyer for Her $12M Upper East Side Penthouse

Jennifer Lawrence, an actress known for her quirky sense of humor and Academy Award-winning roles, just nabbed a buyer for her sky-high, Upper East Side penthouse. The bright property underwent several price cuts from its original $15.6 million listing price, and now it has finally gone into contract. Though it is unknown what the penthouse will close for, J. Law will, unfortunately, take a loss on the deal since she picked it up in 2016 for $15.6 million and its most recent asking price sits at $12 million.

With 360-degree views of the city, the stylish home actually extends even further into the sky with two levels of terraces including a rooftop oasis. The 3,000-square-feet of outdoor space perfect for entertaining holds a kitchen and dining area followed by a lavish lounge area with a built-in media system on the top level.

Indoors, the hosting appeal continues with spacious living and dining areas complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows for an airy feel. The luxe master bedroom is tucked away (but still has terrace access) and there are separate wings for the other bedrooms, creating a private and relaxing atmosphere. The 4,073-square-foot penthouse has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one powder room in total.

Pamela D’Arc of Compass holds the listing. Mansion Global first reported that the home is in contract.
