John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's Custom Hollywood Hills Home Lists for $2.5M
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen sold this midcentury modern Hollywood Hills home in 2014, but the custom recording studio the couple added is still intact—along with many other desirable amenities. Teigen and Legend called on designer Don Stewart to renovate the home after they bought it in 2007 and according to the listing, he “left no stone unturned when creating this spectacular urban resort.” The couple was apparently impressed with his work because they commissioned him to renovate their NoLita loft as well, which sold last year. Both homes were featured in Architectural Digest.
The Hollywood Hills house is marketed as “the ultimate zen escape” and is custom outfitted for indoor/outdoor living with sliding glass doors that lead to al fresco living spaces. Not surprising considering Teigen is a cookbook author and notable foodie on social media, the kitchen sports gourmet-chef-approved Thermador appliances, custom basalt stone counters and rift-cut teak cabinetry. An open concept living space with beamed cathedral ceilings, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms complete the 2,200-square-foot interiors.
