Lil Wayne Parts Ways with His Waterfront Miami Mansion for Almost $22.6M

Lil Wayne just collected much more than ‘A Milli’ on his Miami Beach mansion, which he listed last September for $29.5 million. The five-time Grammy award-winning rapper has now sold the waterfront Allison Island contemporary for a staggering $22,583,000.

While it did sell at a discount compared to the ask, the music industry giant is getting more than the roughly $17 million he paid for the sleek residence back in 2018, which is not quite a surprise. After all, the property features 110 feet of water frontage, is located on an ultra-private gated island community, and has major star power.

Miami-based firm Choeff Levy Fischman designed the impressive oasis situated between the high-end Bal Harbour Shops and the buzzing nightlife of South Beach. Taking it all in, the home is a hotspot in itself where the mystery new owner can entertain glamorously or unwind with the bright blue water always in sight. Inside, 10,632 square feet of living space presents an airy, open, yet grand design. Vertical gardens and soaring high ceilings always keep the eyes moving upwards, while seven bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two half baths allow friends and family to come and enjoy it all, too.

Resort-like outdoor living is on repeat at this address with an infinity pool overlooking the water, chic lounging and dining spaces, and a cabana. The indoors and outdoors seamlessly connect with floor-to-ceiling windows that soar 22 feet high and sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Undoubtedly an impressive holding, the question is, is Lil Wayne leaving Miami or just moving on to something new? While that remains to be seen, Cyril Matz of Douglas Elliman represented both the seller and the buyer in this deal.
