Look Inside Zaha Hadid’s Only Residential Skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere

A rendering of the outside of Zaha Hadid's residential skyscraper, One Thousand Museum.Celebrated architect Zaha Hadid—a Pritzker Prize winner and widely considered as the only female superstar architect—only designed one residential building in the Western Hemisphere. That building, One Thousand Museum in Miami, broke ground in December of 2014 and is slated for completion in late 2018. Sales have begun for its 83 residential units and it is already attracting nobility, dignitaries and celebrities like Will Smith, who recently toured a half-floor unit listed for $7M.

The 5,500-square-foot unit features 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms as well as a large family room with a wet bar and a 700-square-foot terrace with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach. It, along with all of the other units in the building, is outfitted with Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances, custom Poliform cabinetry and custom Valli&Valli door handles designed by Zaha Hadid.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is handling sales in the building and agent Harvey Daniels represents the listing.
