Lucy Liu's Two Flatiron Condos Find Buyers at the Same Time
-
1/9Photographs Courtesy of CoreLucy Liu, who just last month unloaded her Los Angeles home, is on a real estate hot streak. The actress has found a buyer, or buyers, for her two separately listed apartments in a Flatiron boutique building. If the Los Angeles house served as a refuge for the multi-talented star’s more artistic propensities—Liu’s paintings were recently featured in the National Museum of Singapore—the New York residences reflect more of the sleek leading lady everyone sees on screen. Now in contract simultaneously, the nearly identical condos were last priced at $2.995 million each.Making up two of the building’s five units, the apartments sit one on top of the other, but have yet to be combined. Both clock in at 1,816-square-feet and contain three bedrooms, with the fourth-floor unit boasting three bathrooms compared to the third floor’s two. The twin units have a lot in common: 10-foot ceilings, 40-foot-long combination living/dining/kitchen areas with gas fireplaces and custom shuttering, and private keyed elevator access.Aside from its additional bathroom, the fourth-floor apartment is set apart by its master suite, with a soaking tub and tasteful marble touches.Emily Beare and Jessica Chestler of Core Real Estate are handling the sale of both apartments, which Variety first reported are in contract.Photographs Courtesy of CoreLucy Liu, who just last month unloaded her Los Angeles home, is on a real estate hot streak.
