Luxury real estate is on the rise

Cottages & Gardens 2013 Real Estate Survey concludes that 41% of readers plan to buy a home in the next 6 months to 2 years

March 13, 2013 – The real estate market in the New York region is seeing an increase in luxury home sales and purchases particularly among the readers of Cottages & Gardens Publications.  The publisher of CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens), HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens) and NYC&G (New York Cottages & Gardens) has just released the findings of its 2013 Real Estate Survey, which concluded that 41% of readers of all three titles plan to buy a home in the next six months to two years.

The iconic “Deeds & Don’ts” real estate column, a favorite section in every issue, has been providing readers with the inside scoop, trends, listings and recent real estate deals for 12 years. The 2013 Real Estate Survey was conducted to understand readers’ real estate interests, their plans to buy and sell a new and/or second home and their engagement with real estate features and advertising in Cottages & Gardens magazines.

Two-thirds of survey respondents had taken action in response to the real estate advertising or editorial in C&G publications including looking up featured properties online for more information or forwarding the featured property to a friend, relative or colleague.

Marianne Howatson, CEO and Publication Director of Cottages & Gardens Publications said “Anyone who is trying to reach home buyers or sellers should be talking to them in the pages of CTC&G, HC&G and NYC&G.
