Marilyn Monroe's Former Brentwood Home Lists for $6.9M
The only home Marilyn Monroe ever owned—and the home where she died just months after the purchase—just came on the market asking $6.9M.
The 2,624-square-foot Hacienda-style home sits behind tall gates on a quiet cul-de-sac in the coveted Helenas enclave of Brentwood. Though it’s had a handful of owners and gone through a few expansions and updates since Monroe’s time, the home maintains original architectural details including beamed ceilings, terra cotta tile floors and casement windows. The house sits on the largest parcel in the Helenas and the property includes a spacious yard, pool and citrus orchard.
Mercer Vine’s Lisa Optican has the listing, which Variety reported.
