Meghan Markle’s Toronto Home Just Hit the Market
The endearing Toronto home that Meghan Markle recently vacated just hit the market for C$1.395 million (or $1.085 million in USD). Markle rented the three-bedroom, two-bath abode for the past several years while starring in Suits, which filmed in the city. The newly engaged actress doesn’t need the home anymore, however, and is now more suited for royal life at Nottingham Cottage.
Located at 10 Yarmouth Road, the home has buzzworthy details far beyond its high-profile former resident that may push the price higher in a bidding war. The property's detached garage and landscaped private garden are huge selling points in this family neighborhood, while high-end finishes and elegant décor continue to impress inside.
Before getting engaged, Prince Harry and Markle dated long distance and he would often visit her charming, two-story rental. Daniel Freeman of Freeman Real Estate, the agency listing the house, told The Globe and Mail, “There are no traces of royalty in the house, except that it's a very fine residence. She had good taste.” The actress and humanitarian clearly enjoys home décor, as she documented on her Instagram while living in the Seaton Village home. Bright white furniture, lively plants, and thoughtful art pieces all made an appearance, usually alongside her adorable dogs.
The elated couple will be redecorating their new home as husband and wife soon enough as the royal wedding will take place in May 2018.
