-
1/24Photographs courtesy of CompassAfter living in the traditional and historic White House for years—the most famous mansion in the country really—Michelle Obama just got to give a very different type of lavish home a test run. The former First Lady rented this glamorous house in Hollywood Hills for a few days last week, but it is currently for sale asking $22.9 million so she and former president Barack Obama could move right in if they like it.Although the reason for this brief rental is unknown, the Obamas recently announced they will be producing multiple Netflix shows, so it isn’t far-fetched to think they may be looking for a LA home. With 12,800-square-feet of modern interiors and stunning outdoor spaces, the Hollywood Hills estate is exactly what comes to mind when envisioning Los Angeles luxury living. There are 7 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and ample designer touches. On top of having sweeping views and stylish spaces, this residence is bursting with every amenity you can think of. It has a full spa and wellness center with a resistance pool, a dry sauna and plunge pool, plus a gym and massage room, and those are just the health-focused perks. Entertaining is taken to another level with a humidor room, full movie theater, a tequila/vodka freezer, and walk-in regulated wine room. Expansive and a special open-air shark aquarium with seating above are prime spots to host guests as well.Whether the Obamas are thinking of making a purchase or just wanted a taste of LA luxury for a few days, this house now has some presidential prestige. Tomer Fridman of Compass has the listing, which TMZ first reported Michelle Obama rented.Photographs courtesy of CompassAfter living in the traditional and historic White House for years—the most famous mansion in the country really—Michelle Obama just got to give a very different type of lavish home a test run.
