Mission Accomplished: Tom Cruise Sells Telluride Estate for $39.5M Asking Price
Famously, no mission is impossible for Tom Cruise on-screen. The actor’s latest feat away from the cameras? Selling his Telluride, Colorado estate for its full asking price lightning fast. The colossal Colorado home custom-built for Cruise listed in March for $39.5 million, its grand debut on the public market. Just two months later, it has now closed for that exact amount.
Boasting cozy, ski lodge-style amplified both in scale and luxury, the secluded spread is a one-of-a-kind. The mystery buyer’s newfound wintry trove includes 320 acres of alpine forest cut through only by a mile-long driveway. Befitting Cruise’s reputation as a daredevil stuntman, Mansion Global reports that a thrill-seeking snowmobile and dirt bike track sits within the estate’s borders. Those preferring to place their feet to the earth can opt for hiking the vast, forested trails.
For the interiorly-inclined, the main house at the property’s center spans almost 10,000 square feet while an adjacent guest lodge adds 1,512 more. A gracious seven bedrooms and nine full bathrooms in total make it easy to host visitors here. There is certainly plenty of space to share, but the mountain views make great company on their own as well.
Eric Lavey and Dan Dockray of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing, with Lavey as the lead agent.
