NBA Hall of Famer Tony Parker Is Selling His Resort-Like, Custom-Built Texas Estate

If you’re looking to go really big, you can be the second owner to go home to this Texas estate. Former NBA player Tony Parker, who was a longtime starter on the San Antonio Spurs, is looking to sell his mansion in Boerne—which sits just outside of San Antonio.

The NBA Hall of Famer custom-built the residence in 2009 and it is certainly bespoke. The massive residence totals 10 bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and four partial baths. The Mediterranean-style main house offers six of the bedrooms, including the luxurious primary suite, while a guest apartment holds the four additional guest rooms.

The mansion and its grounds can certainly entertain a whole team of guests with amenities like a 1,500-bottle wine room, theater with stadium-inspired seating, tennis and sand volleyball courts, greenhouse, herb garden, and fruit orchard. Of course, such a successful athlete needs access to top training facilities–and Parker created an almost 6,000-square-foot gym on his property. The M.V.P. of this expansive property is arguably the waterpark, however, which is complete with slides, lazy rivers, grottos, and diving platforms.

Privacy and security are also top of mind here. The 53-acre property sits behind Anaqua Springs Ranch’s gated community and is further guarded by double gates and a guardhouse at the end of the driveway. Could another high profile homeowner be in its future?

Binkan Cinaroglu of Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing for an undisclosed price. “Prior to this listing, we had it privately offered for a short time, but the motivation to sell was not high,” the listing agent shared with Mansion Global. “Now that the owner has made the firm decision to sell, we want to offer the home at a price that truly provides fantastic value for the buyer.”
