Seems like retired professional athletes have more in common than just incredible agility; most recently with NFL star Rob Gronkowski’s purchase of a former Norwegian soccer player’s Miami condo. After selling his $2.3 million Boston penthouse shortly after announcing his retirement from New England Patriots’ tight-end position, Gronk has gifted himself with 3,776 square feet of Floridian property.
Located on the 39th floor of Miami’s
Marquis Residences, Gronk will have stunning views of ocean views with its floor-to-ceiling windows and 74 square feet terrace. The condo includes five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, and three allotted parking spots for the NFL star. A pool, spa, gym, and restaurant are included in the building’s amenities.
Records have shown the resell value of the double-unit apartment dropped from the original condo owner, Mr. Carew's purchase of the home in 2013 for $2.35 million.
Mansion Global reported Gronk's recent acquisition of the property totaled out at $1.7 million reported by.
Marquis Residences is also no stranger to housing high-profile athletes and clients with a handful of tenants being Memphis Grizzlies past point guard Mario Chalmers and rapper Drake. Former renters also include Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham and Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram.
