For Immediate Release

NYC&G (New York Cottages & Gardens) is proud to be the U.S. media sponsor of the first-ever Holiday House London to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), housed in two vast mansions in St. John’s Wood North West London located at 59-61 Hamilton Terrace.  New York Interior Designer Rachel Laxer and philanthropist and breast cancer survivor Joyce Misrahi are the Showhouse Co-Chairs.

Four years ago, HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens), partnered with Holiday House to present Holiday House Hamptons. “I’m so excited that NYC&G is the official U.S. media sponsor of the first ever Holiday House showhouse in London,” says HC&G and NYC&G Editor in Chief Kendell Cronstrom. “Not only does this speak to our wide reach as regional luxury design magazines, but it also emphasizes that good design is universal. We’re particularly thrilled that NYC&G’s Study at Holiday House London is designed by Interior Designer, Campion Platt with a Valentine’s Day theme. Cronstrom will feature the transformation of the houses in NYC&G’s award winning global style issue as well as on www.cottagesgardens.com

NYC&G’s Study, by Campion Platt symbolizing secrets, victorian love and hidden spaces and is the inspiration for the room. It features the unique craftsmanship of Clive Christian with a soft but strong paneled interior in dusted walnut and trimmed in rose gold, scented with their 1872 perfume collection. To compliment, but also contrast, the paneled box, the pair teamed up with Ochre and Oly for their organic lighting and furniture. Further enhancing the room’s aesthetic exquisite art pieces by Fillippo Tattoni Marcozzi as well as curated accessories by master tailor, Timothy Everest. “Our room is dedicated to all secret loves, requited or unrequited.”, says Campion Platt.

NYC&G’s Study by Campion Platt is just one of the 25 rooms decorated by renowned names in interior design, such as Nina Campbell, Fiona Barratt, and Nicky Haslam. Other sponsors of the house include Farrow & Ball, De le Cuona, Holly Hunt, Sunbrella and more. Proceeds from Holiday House London benefit the BCRF, an organization that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer.
