Benatar and her husband, Neil “Spyder” Giraldo, bought the property in 2000 for $550K custom built the plantation-style residence that now sits on it. They originally sought $3.6M for the spread before lowering the price to $3.2M. Island Sotheby’s International Realty represented the listing.

This island hideaway sits on 1.1 lush acres in the coveted Pu’uiki area on Maui’s eastern coast and features the 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom main house along with a detached garage that includes a loft studio, which Benatar and Giraldo used as a recording studio and fitness room. A private deck on the garage and sprawling lanai off the back of the main house take in the ocean views.
