Paula Deen Chops the Price on Her Georgia Estate
Paula Deen doesn’t seem to be getting any nibbles on her Savannah, Georgia mansion, which first hit the market in 2015 asking $12.5M. Now, the celebrity chef has given the price a significant chop down to $8.75M, reports Realtor.com. Seabolt Brokers’ V. Elaine Seabolt represents the listing.
The so-called “Riverbend” estate (named for its views over the Wilmington River) includes a 14,500-square-foot main house plus 2 guest cottages, a barn and a dock house on 5.5 acres. The main house boasts a French Caribbean style and features a professional-grade kitchen (no surprise there) as well as an exercise room, media room and an aviary built in to the family room. On the property there is a full outdoor kitchen, a “dive-in” movie theater comprised of an IMAX-quality screen over a swimming pool and a croquet court.
