Pierce Brosnan Lists Thai-Inspired Malibu Beach House for $100M
Even James Bond wants to live like his villains, it seems. After all, they are known for having exquisite hideaways. Former 007 Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Brosnan just listed their custom-built Malibu mansion on Broad Beach, and it’s a Thai-inspired stunner that rivals the lairs in the iconic franchise. It also has a striking price tag: $100 million. Designed by Ralph and Ross Anderson with Southeast Asia in mind, the serene seaside retreat dubbed Orchid House is for sale for the first time ever.
The couple finds themselves in familiar company making real estate moves as former Bond actor Sean Connery also listed a pricey coastal home recently in Cape de Nice, France. That divine property, however, is nothing like this meticulous stateside sanctuary.
With its twin teak entry gates and panoramic ocean views, Orchid House exudes a wondrous calmness. Palm trees and tropical flowers grow in spades across the property, while the modern wraparound porch and a series of courtyards exist as places to soak in the peaceful atmosphere. This parcel of land is incredibly rare, spanning over an acre with approximately 117 feet of beachfront providing the feel of a luxury resort. And when the ocean seems too far, a saltwater pool sits just outside the many walls of glass.
Although the property as a whole goes by Orchid House, two houses actually lie on the lot; the main house, and a two-story guest/pool house with its own bar for a total of 5 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.
