Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Might Be Moving To a Grander Estate

Two months after the royal wedding swept us off our feet, reports are swirling that Queen Elizabeth gifted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a rather large present. The pair, who requested guests donate money to chosen charities in lieu of wedding presents, couldn’t stop the queen and adoring grandmother from spoiling them with a new home, the lovely Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Located on the grounds of Windsor Home Park, just east of St. George’s Chapel where the couple was married, there’s no denying that Adelaide Cottage would be the perfect forever-home for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Windsor was chosen as the wedding setting because it holds special meaning for them as a couple, so making it the backdrop of their married life and much-anticipated family would further the fairytale even more.

Daily Mail first reported that the Queen granted them the 1831-built residence, but Kensington Palace has not weighed in as of yet. In contrast, the official engagement announcement included a clear statement that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would live in Nottingham Cottage for a time, but perhaps for privacy reasons they’re being more discreet about the royals’ next real estate move.
