Proenza Schouler Opens Their First Pop-up Shop in Greenwich
Cozy and sophisticated, this boutique is absolutely stunning.
Proenza Schouler has opened its first pop-up store in Greenwich on “The Ave” alongside brands such as Restoration Hardware and Saks Fifth Avenue. In partnership with FlagshipRTL, the high-end fashion brand is devoted to connecting directly to customers at a local level. This new strategy gives residents of Fairfield County and surrounding towns access to truly enjoy the brand’s array of merchandise.
The storefront’s minimalistic design allows Proenza Schouler’s pieces to hold the spotlight as shoppers walk by. Within the 1,600-square-foot white-walled space lies their ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as Proenza Schouler White Label, which is the brand’s more casual attire. The blank walls inside the spacious layout beautifully mirror the brand’s selective inventory. Similar to their Fall ’21 Show, the neutral yet bright environment accentuates the tasteful designs.
Clean lines guide the eyes through the spacious storehouse with clothing displayed on both sides. A welcoming sitting area in the center offers a place to relax and take in the beautiful walls of purses, especially the tired husbands who deserve to rest their feet. On one wall, fresh kicks and trendy boots decorate the shelves, while the other presents a selection of handbags in a variety of colors and styles. The shop’s concise design and uncluttered atmosphere guarantees a blissful shopping experience.
Like many, Proenza Schouler quickly adapted to evolved societal necessities and demands. Working from home and quarantining became some of the most popular changes of the time, and a desire for loungewear soon followed. Now, Proenza Schouler’s designs exude comfort while remaining sophisticated and stylish. For those with a classic, laid-back or eccentric style, the store provides something for everyone.
By merging design inspiration from contemporary art with traditional craftsmanship, Proenza Schouler is a crowd pleaser. Having won five CFDA awards in total, residents are sure to flock to this pop-up while it remains in town through September. Who knows? Maybe the pop-up shop will become a permanent store on the acclaimed Greenwich Avenue.
