Rapper Big Sean Sells Refreshed and Brightened Beverly Hills Mansion for $11.1M

Should buyers ‘Beware’ of how fast the market is moving? Perhaps, as many sellers are basking in quick sales of their luxury homes lately. Just ask Big Sean. The rapper listed his Beverly Hills mansion in February asking $12.5 million and just sold it for $11.1 million.

According to the LA Times, Big Sean bought the house from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash in 2017 for $8.7 million. So, this investment return could be quite the ‘Blessing,’ depending on how much Big Sean spent on its renovation. Upon purchase, the home underwent quite the revamp—one that swapped loud and colorful rockstar taste for a more modern and clean aesthetic.

The 10,971-square-foot abode with canyon and city views now has a brighter, open-concept style. Set in the elite guard-gated Mulholland Estates community, it is refreshed but still exudes grandeur. There are 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms across three floors, as well as huge spaces for entertaining.

Some notable features include a chef’s kitchen and expansive living rooms, as well as a resort-style backyard with an outdoor living room and fireplace, terrace, BBQ, pool, and spa. On the home’s lower level, one finds themselves in the midst of a nightclub, bar and kitchenette, 13+ seat home theater, and a recording studio.

Though ripe for work and play, the suave spaces certainly ‘Play No Games.’ James Harris, David Parnes, and Alex Vichinsky of The Agency represented the seller while Jordan Rubinstein of Century Park Realty brought the buyer.
